Upgraded to Roku 3 from Roku HD - so glad I did - noticeable improved speed and clarity, love the motion sensor remote with headphone jack & included ear buds.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Multiple Connections, Fast Setup, Motion Remote Wheadphone, Simple Controls

Awesome product. Decided to axe the cable to save some cash and bought this Roku. For the $100 a month we will be saving without cable this unit paid for itself in the first month. This Roku is super fast and easy to use to the point that my 3 year old is able to pick out her favorite cartoons to watch. I will be buying more units in the future.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup

Couldnt get the server program to work. Spent hours and hours trying to figure it out. I asked the people who volunteer their time and they couldn't figure it out either. When I did put movies on my thumb drive half wouldn't even be recognized. I returned it and got a wd unit and it plays every format I have given it. It is much easier to use and would not recommend roku to anyone.

Cons: Difficult setup, Doesn't Play All Formats

What a disappointment!

We hate roku 3 as most of the time the screen says unauthorized content and we are unable to watch even those channels and movies for which we pay. Very frustrating and disappointing. Roku is of no help

Flawed and Needs Work

I like the channel selection but no YouTube is a big minus. The overall graphic design on screen is inelegant and amateurish compared to Apple TV, for example. Biggest complaint is that it freezes up frequently, requiring the user to unplug the device and reboot it. THIS DEFINITELY HAS TO BE FIXED BY ROKU!
