Great Investment.

My family and I purchased this device as a alternate to the over priced world of cable/dish TV. There are many free channels and hours of endless entertainment. Our three your old has many education shows to watch which is amazing. The only down fall we have found thus far is there is nothing to entertain the 8 year old. He has stuck to Netflix and the WWE channel to see shows he is interested in, but the programming on the channels seem to be child or adult, no middle ages. Outside of this, its fantastic and worth the money!!!!!

If I lost all of my entertainment electronics (lightening storm) and I could only buy one accessory for a TV, it would be a Roku 3, without a doubt.

A product that could use some re working

I bought the device to help get away from my cable bill. I thought this would be a cheaper alternative to cable. It does not give you access to local stations and most of the offerings require additional payment. It would be great if everything was sorted into 2 different areas, paid channels verses free so you could easily stick to searching without getting stuck with extra fees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this player...cant wait for Roku4 to come out with even better features...wish HBOGO was available to everyone just like Netflix is, regardless if they are subscribed to the main service or not...please make it happen

Goodbye Cable

The Roku 3 works great. It was easy to install and set up. There are plenty of great apps (e.g., sports, news, movies, children's programming, etc.) and everything streams perfectly. This little device will quickly pay for itself. This along with an OTA antenna has allowed us to cut the cable cord for good.

Fantastic and unobtrusive

very crisp picture and flawless streaming, small and portable, I bought a supplemental AC adapter and HDMI cable to make moving this between my two tvs a breeze. The user interface takes some time to get used to but is very good after you learn how to navigate it efficiently.

The Roku 3 is my favorite new toy! It was easy to set up, and its uber fast. It also has all my favorite apps, which my smart tv doesn't. I can even control my Roku 3 with my tablet. Love it!
