I bought my Roku 3 at the beginning of September after not having cable for six years. We really love it. It is very easy to use and set up. My nine year old daughter handles the remote like a pro. My only gripe is that there are certain channels/shows that are not on there such as The Food Network and The Walking Dead. We have also had the problem with commercials playing themselves over 3-4 times in a row during commercial break. Other than this we love our Roku 3!

I brought the Roku 3 yesterday (10/8/14) - I think it is a wonderful streaming option. This is my first Roku, and it is a versatile TV watching accessory. It is worth the investment.

I've had Roku for a few years now with flawless operation. I recently bought a new TV and encountered a minor problem that Roku was happy to fix. I bought 1 for each of my 2 kids! Great for Christmas

I decided to pick one of these up to break free of the shackles of satellite TV, and as soon as my contract period is up I plan to do so immediately. Between Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, and all the free content available through Plex and other channels there is virtually nothing you can't find and paying for cable or satellite is simply an outdated and expensive proposition. The Roku streams everything in excellent quality and does so with very short load times, and the interface is easy to navigate and intuitive. I really couldn't be happier with this thing, and between it and possibly an inexpensive digital antenna for the three major OTA networks if there's anything I can't find from them online, I'm ditching DirecTV entirely a few weeks from now.
