outstanding tech

hello,
we purchased a roku3 to get better reception on our "smart" tv. we have been having problems with netflix on our tv and trying the smart bluray dvd player improved it, but it still stalled and quit. we thought a roku3 being a single external product would be better in wireless reception. so far, it has been excellent on reception and when netflix stops, it is a netflix problem and not a roku problem. other items on the roku work, so it is not the roku making the netflix stop or not load a program to watch. we would recommend the roku3 to anyone wanting to watch netflix wirelessly. great quality device.

I have used the Logitech Revue for some years. I love the full-sized keyboard, but find the interface (particularly for Amazon Prime) pretty unusable. Also, it has been abandoned, so no updates or support. The Roku is clearly a leader. I WOULD love support for DLNA so I could stream my local media from my router.

Great in America...no so much so in Asia

I used Roku in North America and I was thrilled by the ease and functionality of my Roku. However, using it in Asia is a completely different story. Although it works, it doesn't allow you to use many of the applications (like Netflix and others). I would advise anyone wanting to use this outside of NA to investigate what applications you can actually use for Roku in Asia. Not many and those you can are basically "B" rated apps.

Bought this product to go along with the antenna I installed to "cut the cord". It has a great selection of apps, although they need to work out a subscription based deal for Watch ESPN. Overall a great product.

I moved after purchasing mine, and now I don't pay for cable, and others in the household can set up there own lineup to watch! I have recommended it to all of my friends!

I love the Roku for its features, but Ive had problems with it going to 1080p on my tv that has 1080. That and COMCAST wont allow you to use HBO go and Showtime with the roku. Its the only thing stopping 5 stars.
