I had a device to get Netflix and Pandora, etc. I bought Roku to get espn3. My carrier is LUS Fiber. I get Espn3 on my computer but cannot on Roku so it was a waste of money. I am disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy setup, great programming choices, and you don't have to pay for those cable channels you never watch. The tech support is outstanding. Had a problem early on, not a Roku fault, but a bad cable of mine, and tech support was unbelievably helpful. The best tech support I have ever encountered!! So, I am saving money and enjoying the programming I choose. I highly recommend the Roku.

headset attachment breaks too easily

I like everything except my headset does not work due to a small plastic piece inside the remote broke. Now the headset does not work. It seems odd that a gaming remote would break so easily. As far as I know the remote has not been dropped or abused. I love Roku, but this function was the only reason I bought a Roku 3.

Love our Roku

We bought our first Roku 3 little over a year ago. Was so pleased, we bought a second one for the bedroom. We were so tired of paying for Satellite/ cable. We were paying for all the ad channels. IT WAS CRAZY! Now wewatch our local channels. When we want any movies, evwn TV shows we don't get..... we can find them on ALL the channels Roku brings into our home. We are in control once again. Thank you Roku.

Wish more channels were free. I watch several shows on the CW channel and I couldn't watch a show called "The Originals" and was disappointed.

I purchased my Roku 3 about a month ago, and it has performed admirably. There is more content available than we can possibly watch, and we find ourselves going to Roku instead of cable more and more as time goes by.
