Roku 3 ROCKS!

We bought our Roku about 30 days ago and we love the ease of use and loads of content. We are getting close to cutting out cable and buying a second Roku. The only holdback is the lack of HGTV.

We have 4 of these models in our home and we are so thrilled with this model. We can use either the HDMI or the input cables - either way, we are in good shape! The box is small, reliable, and so very easy to use (as is the stick version, which we have one of). We haven't used the headphone feature but who know - at least it's there if we choose to use it. We do take one of these on the road with us when we travel. It's fantastic for those vacations to places where frankly, there's nothing worthwhile to watch. We love our Roku's so much, we are cancelling our satellite at the end of the year. Thanks, Roku!!

I enjoy the Roku immensely and would like to say one thing. Do not eliminate the ability for your users to use the Ethernet cable. There are situations even with wireless where people can and would need the ability to make use of this. Your device provides many qualities that just are not available with other means to stream Netflix, Amazon, Acorn etc. etc.

My favourite media box!

To be precise, I would give it 4.5 out 5.
After 6 months of usage of the Roku 3, it has become our main media streaming box, relegating 2 others to secondary rooms. The small size makes it easy to move to another TV if necessary and the processor is powerful when compared to other (often older competing products). The option of adding a micro SD card to expedite channel loading is also nice. My favourite features are : 1) the headphone input on the remote. This comes in very handy when trying to watch TV and minimize disturbing family members. 2) The diversity and number of channels. Roku is a great platform not only for the main streaming services like Netflix, Crackle, Cineplex store, Youtube or Vevo but also has many independent channels for Free!
Also, it offers access to the UFC Fight Pass which we greatly enjoy.
The only negative I see is that browsing on the Netflix app is less convenient than on some streaming boxes (the same content is accessible but the arrangement is less detailed and less convenient for browsing and viewing lists of new releases). This is surely a matter of habit or preference though. On the other hand, it offers a split Netflix/Netflix kids which some (not I) might enjoy. When compared to other streaming boxes, the Roku 3 is great value for your money and is the box I recommend to friends and family.

I bought my roku box for wrestling and i love it. I'm not happy that you got to purschase the other stuff on the box in order to use it but oh well. Other then that I love my box!!!!!

I like the look on the new Roku, and a lot of the updates are really visually pleasing! But unlike the old Roku 2s that I have, the screen saver doesn't come on in apps and that was an unfortunate update to the new Roku.
