Ok, I love all of the features my Roku provides, but my remote only works about 50% of the time. I have changed the batteries a million times, but this stupid thing does not want to work. Not impressed! I don't need it to do flips, but I do need it to pause when I press the button.

Bought 3 months ago works fine most of the time but freezes up on me sometimes and I have to unplug it and then plug it back in to get it to work

Ive always been a traditional cable/dish person and never imagined I go the streaming route. However having moved and living with family for a while we were essentially without traditional TV for a year. We thought we'd try the Roku as we weren't watching as much TV and it works GREAT! We do much more targeted TV watching now instead of it being on 24/7. Lots of great content and will be even better when the major networks follow Fox's lead with Fox Now.

The demise of cable/sattellite

I can not say enough good things about my Roku devices. I have a 2, 3, and Streaming Stick, in my home, and they all work perfectly. This is how I have always wanted to watch TV. Combined with my outdoor antenna, rotator, and signal booster, I have no need for cable and save a thousand dollars a year!

Had the roku 3 for a few months and then it stopped working for no reason it was never abused or even moved roku would do nothing for me!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
