So easy to use cut my cabel bll in half

I bought the Roku so I could break free of Time Warner's extreme high pricing. I absolutely love it. I am in my 60's and have had no problem navigating the many channels.

Low/Slow Pitched Audio not being addressed by Roku

This would be a 5star review if Roku would fix this issue.
I believe the problem that causes the Low/Slow Pitched Audio problem is perhaps an internal component overheating. All of the posts on this forum http://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=65576&start=45 suggest it is HDMI handshake or network issues. I have been in the AV business for over 25years and I don't believe this is the problem.
My solution was to plug it into the switched AC outlet of my AV receiver so it reboots every time I power cycle the receiver. This has made it a livable problem for now but I am surprised that Roku does not have a real solution to this very real problem.
IMHO If this really is caused by overheating then no amount of firmware updates will fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was so frustrated with my new TV which did not do what I really wanted it to do. Roku has saved me with this magic little streaming stick. All I could hope for and easy to use.

I have Roku 2 I love it , only wish I had got one a lot sooner. I have checked out some flat screens with Roku ? It is so simple to set up , very easy directions . I would recommend it to anyone to try it .
