An Unexpected Great Experience

I have to admit I thought that the Roku 3 would not be anything great, but it is. Especially when I hooked up an "N' router to feed the signal. My feed was good at times with my "G" router, but was great with an "N" router. There are only occasional dropping of the signal with my setup. Some of the channels are kind of junk, but the ones I use most often, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus are great to view and the remote makes it a simple process to set up. Tekzilla is also one of my favorites along with YouTube.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very happy with my ROKU player. I love that I can watch some of my favorite TV shows and movies for free! I love how easy the device is to setup for the first time!

I bought this eight months ago -- was so tired of paying excessive cable TV bills only to have to watch commercials. Now streaming movies and news -- few or no commercials; and saving money to boot ! It's a no-brainer.

Love the Roku 3

I've been using the Roku 3 for about a year, love it. The Roku completely changed my TV viewing experience, so much more TV and movies available, including British (discovered Australian and Canadian). Got rid of cable, saved money. The Roku 3 is fast, easy to use. Got rechargeable batteries for the remote. If there's any problem, rebooting usually fixes it, or if there's been a power outage, reconnecting to wifi through menu settings. Like the ability to connect with my laptop, too. Very happy.

I bought both Amazon fire and Rocu. The Roku had better ratings and the fire had just come out. I bought the Fire because I know that Amazon is a great company and will not take long to catch up. I gave 4 stars to Fire and 4 to roku. Though the Roku is a better system (for now) the Fire earned the same rating for the one thing that other systems don't have. I'm talking about the talk to search feature. Unfortunately this feature only works with Amazon prime content. I can't believe that these systems don't ALL come with a better search method built into the remote. In the year 2014 , I shouldn't have to pair my phone or suffer scrolling through the alphabet on darn letter at a time. You wanna make your system better? Make a fast searching remote (like fire tv) that is able to search through all the content.

I have had the Roku 3 for awhile and love it. I have it in my bedroom so I use it to watch movies, listen to music or buy from QVC! My favorite is watching TV programs on Amazon Prime.
