Amazing machine!

I bought this machine. I had been watching Netflix on my computer. My girlfriend wanted to watch on the TV. I was concerned about wires and what sort of cables. The Roku worked very well. It is compact, easy to install and easy to use.

Reliable and Easy to Use

I bought the Roku because of the lack in functional consistency with BluRay players that had built-in Wi-Fi for app streaming, such as Netflix. I could hardly ever watch a full show without the BluRay player dropping the Wi-Fi connection or some sort of re-buffering interruption. I got the Roku and have not had a dropped or interrupted show since. Additionally, the apps update more often, so it is nice to have the most current version available.

I Love my Roku! It is been the easiest way to stream movies and TV channels without having to have gaming systems. When I've had problems with Netflix freezing on the screen, the Roku tech-support walked me through to fix the problem. The Roku is great for technically challenged people like myself.

Best purchase ever!

After cancelling my cable I usually watched TV with a regular antenna, on my computer or Nextflix on my Wi-Fi DVD player. I did some research and decided to get a Roku 3. I cannot begin to express how please I am with my purchase. It is small, easy setup and a total powerhouse. The speed is so much fast than my DVD player. There are some channels that I would not have thought about watching, but since they were free I gave them a try. I am glad I did. I have more television options now than when I had the largest cable package available to me - without the cost. After seeing mine, several friends have dropped their cable and purchased a Roku 3.

When I first got this unit it kept droping off-line. I guess there has been an update that fixed the unit and now it works perfect. The whole family likes the programing and ease of operation.

I bought a Roku 3 to as a solution to the terrible electronics included in my Vizio TV (wouldn't stay connected to a stable network). I highly recommend the Roku. It's always on. Just change inputs and your ready to go. Thank you Roku for making my smart tv usable.

It usually works quite well. Occasionally, it'll freeze, then reboot itself or need a reboot. I like all the old movies and comedies.
