Easy to use

Bought this about 2 months ago, glad I made the investment. I was able to catch up on series I've missed. Very easy to setup. Was able to watch shows within minutes of taking it out of the box.

Decided to get this after having good results with the Roku 2, and this one is even better and faster. Almost never disconnects from home WiFi. Kept and moved the Roku 2 to the bedroom, where it is easier to use than the Smart Blu Ray player.
I also like the added value of headphones with the remote, even if I do not use this feature often. The Roku 3 has made it much less painful to cut the cord, as we are finding more and better things to watch than we ever did with our satellite dish.
Just get it now, you won't be sorry!

I use to have Roku 2 and replaced it by Roku 3 several month ago. I am so happy that I bought another Roku 3 for my kitchen TV. I recommend this device.

Buffering problem

I have 2 Roku2 XS models that I am happy with. I bought the Roku3 on the promise that it was "new and improved" but it is unusable on the main channel we watch...Amazon Prime Instant Videos. Our show loads up fairly fast but then freezes up and we get a "loading" message. After another minute or two, the show begins again and shortly after, freezes up again. This process continues until we have to replace the Roku3 with the old trusty XS and are able to watch the channel with no problems. It just takes a bit longer to load the show, but once it is loaded, it plays without interruption.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Always worth the money

Was hesitant to purchase since my prior device was still working, but the interface and the speed are definitely worth the upgrade.
