I love this and it is so easy. I am technically challenged and I could even set it up! The best thing to happen to TV, I no longer have cable, I am saving tons of money and I only need to pay for my WiFi. Thank you for coming out with such a simple product.

If you have good Internet service (Cable,Fios,fast DSL etc.) you should give Roku a try.

Almost perfect--one annoyance

I love this device: the headphone jack and the ability to handle closed captions are especially useful, since I have some hearing loss. Had I know about these features I would have upgraded from my previous Roku sooner. It's fast and the interface is excellent. I have one complaint: I haven't been able to find any way to deactivate the way it segues from one episode to another of a series. That feature puts the closing titles in an unreadably small window and starts the next episode somewhere into the opening titles. On some shows that skips content. If I could shut this off, I'd give the product 5 stars.

Not liking the design of the remote.

I would have gave it a 5 stars. I do not like the design of the Roku 3 remote. On my Roku 2 it has the Netflix,Crackle and Pandora button on it. It was an easy access. however, I do like the fact you can use ear plugs ..

When I first got it, I installed it on a not so smart TV. The TV all of the sudden went from meh to awesome yet it was missing something. I have a media center and the Roku lacked a UPnP/DLNA player. I finally got it and its great! Works awesome and now I can stream my library of movies from my server at home. Now its thew perfect device!

it has been such a blessing! we had blue ray which used with netflix and due to heat and our network where so many glitches. asked this for my birthday and as a women to ask for technology instead of jewrely that is saying a lot. regret as purchased but now I say why didn't I do it sooner. sooooo helps with watching netflix love love love it. love other options like being able to get "harvest channel by Greg Laurie" so help with my devotions. love and would buy again and again!
