Fun to Watch ~ Easy to Use!

We bought this Roku about 4 months ago and we are quite pleased with our purchase. We are not tech savvy in the least and yet we have found both the installation and use to be very easy. We love our Roku!

Had Roku for almost a year. I debated buying this or Apple TV. I also own Googles Chromecast. I went with Roku over AppleTV. I use it in our upstairs bedroom to stream Netflix, Vudu and Amazon Prime and Youtube content. I also use it with my iPhone and iPad to stream personal video I've taken. Wifi works very well. Setup is super easy. Remote control is very cool. My favorite feature is the headphones in remote. I can listen to tv with headphones on and watch tv while wife sleeps :) It's small and compact. Its easy to take on vacation if your going somewhere where your going to have wifi access. Even took it to my parents so my kids could rent movie on Vudo. I Love This Product.

I'm glad I bought the Roku 3. Seldom do I have a situation that I can't find something worth watching! Sometimes you encounter channels that won't have content unlocked unless you login with a cable TV service provider account. ( like AE, some FOX shows, etc). On some occasions my devices will freeze up and reset to the home screen. That may be issue with my house wifi. Definitely recommend! Why pay one more penny to cable if you don't have too?!?!

Would give 4 and 1/2 stars if I could. Only wish it were more interactive for channels like YouTube. If the remote had a Qwerty keyboard, searching would be much easier.

I couldn't believe how many free channels there are. The tv that i have this on we dont watch cable on There is such a variety of channels that we just watch whats offered on the Roku. Glad I purchased.

MOVIES ON THE ROAD!

I am very happy with the Roku. It is simple, simple, simple. I am so tired of components with remotes 8 inches long, loaded with tiny buttons and a manual 100 pages long! Roku is very easy to use and loads Netflix, Hulu and others much faster than other streaming devices.
Roku made it possible to cut the cable, which paid for itself in the first month.
Also, a plus: The Roku has a USB port for playing movies and other media. If you have the capability (playon/playlater) of recording movies on your PC and copying to a flash drive, you have movies on the go.
Take your Roku and your flash drive with you on vacation along with all the provided cables; and wherever you have TV where you can change the input, you have your own programming!
When there are those occasional glitches the Roku practically fixes itself. It's been over a year now and the most I've had to do was do a soft reset using the remote keys.
