Awesome features and easy to use.

I originally purchased this to stream Netflix. I chose this model, as it had wireless and wired connection capability. Once I started using it, I found it also had built in support for videos from other online sources such as Crackle, YouTube and many more.
The device is so easy to use, my 8 year old niece had it figured out in under 10 minutes.
Connecting the device to Netflix is easy, you just go to a website on your computer or smartphone and enter the code.
I would recommend this to a friend!

remote accuracy

The system works great for watching shows and movies or for music - Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Pandora,.... I watch a lot of shows via the Roku.
For games, no matter the distance from my Roku/TV, I find the accuracy is off. This is a frustration when attempting to use it for game play. Maybe I should have stayed with the Roku 2.

Great Features and Very Reliable

Bought the Roku 2XS a few years ago when my mom wanted it so she could watch Glenn Beck on "The Blaze" via Roku. Recently added a Roku 3 and its a nice improvement without going too high up in price. The unit itself is small so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb on the TV stand. Ethernet is now an option as well as plugging in a thumb drive to view pix and home videos on the wide-screen TV. The really nice thing is the earbud jack on the remote with its own volume control, so I can watch during late-night hours and not bother my family or neighbors. Setup is easy, took me only a few minutes.

Works well mostly

Works pretty well. It does crash once in awhile which is remedied by unplugging and trying again... freezes is the best description of the problem... also seems to eat batteries (the remote). But all in all, I have no regrets... turn that really nice TV you still have but is not "Smart" into a Smart-TV. One last thing -- the little box gets very hot... I have now placed it on a ceramic coaster -- to act as a heatsink. Seems to be okay but... heat will kill any electronics over time.

I rarely watch cable anymore on my TV. The Roku has completely erased the need for cable with the apps available.

I purchased my Roku last year. Easy to install and operate. I love, love it. Once you have it, you will not want to be without it. Best thing that ever happened to television. The customer service is really available and helpful. This is a big plus.

An Upgrade from the Roku 2 XD

The product is fast, responsive, and great for watching Twitch (unofficial), Crunchyroll, and YouTube. The only issue, or dislike, is that the Roku 3 gets incredibly hot at times. It doesn't seem to harm the system, but it is a little odd at times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really sensitive, keeps cutting off more times that my old roku 1 which I've had for more than 4 years, and is not the internet. Missing play from beginning option.
