Fast and Doesn't Stall

The Roku 3 has a nice Euro look and the thing you'll notice first is how fast it changes channels and programs. Also, you won't find it stalling especially if you have weaker wifi bars.

Love the headphone feature on the remote!

The headphone jack on the remote is awesome! As a student it's great, from our couch one person can watch shows on the Roku while the other studies undisturbed. It makes for an awesome set up.

I especially like the ability to play my network movies with the media player channel. I just wish the channel would play mpeg encoded videos.

I have no complaints so far with this or my other two Roku's. I can say I don't really miss cable (or the bill!) at all. I don't know why I didn't make the switch sooner.
The only silly thing I've come across is for Disney and ESPN, you still need a cable TV package. Uh hello, Why would I get Roku if I still need a TV package? So least to say, those channels are not watched in our house, unless there is a work around I haven't found.
My rating might go up to 5 stars once I have more time to use it.

I have had Roku 3 since March of 2013 and no longer have cable or satellite television. I love that Roku lets me stream my Hulu Plus, Acorn TV, Plex, and Amazon Prime content directly to my flat screen televison.

I first bought the Roku2 but, found it to be too slow and returned it for the Roku3. The 3 is much faster and has better features. I had some difficulty with audio breaking up when using headphones but, replacing the supplied batteries with new batteries solved the problem.
