Great for cord-cutters!

I love my Roku 3! Along with an HD antenna, I have successfully cut the cable cord! Roku has all the resources I need to watch my favorite shows without the cable prices! The only reason I gave it four stars, is it occasionally freezes and I have to restart it. Not a big issue considering what you are getting for the money! I am able to access Hulu and Netflix for my favorite shows, news sources, concerts, movies, and educational content that I wouldn't get even if I paid for cable! Buy it!

Really like the fact that I don't have to go to the video store twice nor do I have to wait for a dvd via the mail. Instant entertainment/movies is GREAT! Also love the headset feature b/c I have a hearing disability.

we went off cables a few years ago and as such had been using a game console to watch netflicks and such. then someone recommended the Roku to us. It works great. some small glitch things like slowdown issues and battery slippage but other than that, great.

Roku 3 - pretty cool little box

Bought this for the improved wifi and YouTube. The wifi is much better than the original, menus are snappy - add a cheap SD card (2 Gig class 4 is fine) and you can store tons of channels/games. Try "Storm in a Teacup" - surprisingly addictive. Portable - take it with you on vacation if you want. The kids can use it with no help. Wish it had a 3.5 audio out jack like the 2 did, or better yet a USB audio out that I could feed a DAC with. A browser would be cool too. The remotes for these work very well - you can velcro this to the back of your TV if you want to hide it and the remote will still work.
