Not a bad revision, still needs some work.

The two faults with my previous Roku 2 were the buggy remote and what I assume is an overheating problem, the latter causing the unit to slow down and eventually reboot in the middle of watching a video on the device. Unfortunately the same two issues are present in the Roku 3.
I purchased the Roku 3 primarily for the built-in headphone jack on the remote and the beefier hardware inside the Roku itself. Unfortunately the headphone jack is pretty cheap--after a few months we started hearing static through the headphones and the audio would sometimes drop out completely. Sometimes the jack doesn't recognize the headphones at all; other times, the audio plays through the headphones and also semi-muted from the TV. It's a pity they didn't use better quality parts in the remotes.

I only have one problem with registering some show on History channel and A&E when i try to watch a show it want me to register on my computer. When I try this they want my tv provider. Well this is the whole point of me purchasing my Roku. I have no tv provider I stream from a wireless ATT router. Any suggestions?

How much easier can it be than to plug in a small unobtrusive box into the back of your TV and have it ready to use whenever you want it. I pick the channels and providers I want to watch, I pick the shows and movies I want to watch when I want to watch them, and I don't worry about missing anything (even shows I already missed years ago on channels I didn't even get ) because I can watch them whenever I want to. I really am the Boss of Me!

I had purchased an older version few years back and loved it(still have it!) BUT the new version is just that much better. More features, faster, gets used almost every day!
