One of my "young, tech pals" told me about Roku, Netflicks, Hulu in Spring 2013. I finally got mine last Summer, found it pretty easy to set up on my own [instructions were really good] and I'm not a tech person, you know. I have enjoyed it so much and it helped open up a window into what is now available digitally. Sometimes it seems like we've finally caught up with the Jetsons. I think that the Roku is the greatest little device in television today- small & unassuming with big things hidden inside.

Never a dull evening

I bought one two years ago and love it,then bought a new Roku 3 just after Christmas and love it. We cut the cable cord and never looked back. So much choice and not enough hours.

Since I purchased my Roku 3 months ago, I wonder why I had not purchased it when it first came out. I just love it. and now I cannot do without it. It is also very easy to use. Thank you.

A lot of entertainment from a small box

We've had the Roku 3 for about 6 months and think it's a great device. It does a great job streaming even though our internet connection isn't super fast. We use it mostly for Netflix. We also use it to look at out pics on Shutterfly and to look at the news on CBS.

I saved a lot a money when buying my last tv by keeping it "non smart TV" and buying Roku instead to watch Netflix. Then i discovered i could use it for a lot more. facebook, history channel, and more. I specially like the headphone feature when i am watching TV late at night and dont want to disturb my sleeping wife

I started with the Roku 2 and when I decided to get another one I decided I would try Roku 3. It was definitely worth the few extra dollars for the nice features it has. Also it seems to load up the videos quicker then the 2.

We have had ROKU for about 6 months now and it has replaced cable TV as our source of information and entertainment at a fraction of the cost of cable. Unless you watch TV all day long, you'll find ROKU provides a wonderful balance of entertainment and news clips for people who have a busy life and need focused content. The only problem we have had with ROKU 3 is the need to pair the remote about once a week as it fails to communicate. It's a quick process but annoying. Hope there's a fix soon.
