Great features and easy to use

I actually own two of the Roku 3 players and will likely soon purchase a third. They are very easy to set up and the radio frequency remote control is a very useful feature. It lets you hide the player for a cleaner look and installation. The menu system is easy to use and very intuitive with lots of channels you can add.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The player is very user friendly. It has a lot of options for channels. The features are ideal. I really enjoy the headphone on the controller.

Great! (When it works.)

When I first set my Roku 3 up, it was great. But shortly thereafter, all that would come up would be a purple screen. After researching the problem, it was determined that I needed a different ethernet cable. I ordered one directly from Roku. It has been better, but occasionally, I still get the purple screen. When this happens, I have to disconnect and reconnect the cable. It's time consuming and a bother. If you have more time than money, get the Roku 3. If you can afford it, go with a smart TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazingly Fast

I've had several products similar to the Roku, including a brand new smart tv with the same features. The Roku is far and away the fastest interface around. It's amazing how they get this much performance out of such a small unit. Makes me wonder why my huge Vizio smart tv runs so drastically slower. I can't say enough about how good this unit is. Costs slightly more than others but sooo worth it.

Excellent Product in every way

After purchasing this device, I was sceptical about it doing all it said it was supposed to do. After adding all my channels and connecting my movie database via plex, I was pleasantly surprised. I really don't have any reason to go back to watching regular ole tv. In addition to this, I have confirmed that Roku is adding another 1000 channels by the end of the year! Good-bye cable company. Helloooo pretty ROKU!!!

i love roku. I am saving so much money without having a cable tv bill. im a little disappointed by the membership fees to Netflix, amazon ect. the free channels are not that great
