Roku 3 - big improvement on my first Roku product

The Roku 3 I bought is fantastic but with only one important defect: the remote constantly stops working. To get it to work, I have to take out the batteries and replace them. This should be fixed!

Best range of services of any streaming device

There are a bunch of streaming TV devices out there, and unfortunately none of them work with all streaming services. But, Roku works with the most important ones: Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, plus a bunch of other things (e.g. Pandora). It wraps it all up with a nice user interface, and the useful ability to search across services. Roku's own movie / TV rental service, M-Go is also well integrated, Well worth it.

Speedy, reliable. The headphone amp in the remote is very powerful. Drives pro grade headphones to very high sound levels. Ie. It gets loud. Just wish the hardware development would stabilize so we don't feel the need to upgrade all the time. And wish content producers would sack up to the dish and cable companies and sell content direct. As in, HBO GO without requiring a cable subscription. What is this 1999?

Works very well. Also have a Roku 2 that have used since it first came out and has been very reliable; expect the Roku 3 will be the same. If Roku had added a browser to this product, I would have given it more 5 stars.

I have bought three over the recent years.. The ear phone jack was a big plus however it cancelled out the volume for others in the room which defeated the purpose for me. Need both - ear phone and open audio. Continual sign in is pain.
