great when you can't afford cable

The Roku has been great. I was able to place in a cable password so my kids and I can enjoy many cable channels. It does not connect to basic tv so you still have to get an antenna but it is still a great device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy with it but it needs to get some more APPs especially like ABC,CBS,NBC and AMC so you can watch on demand stuff from them

best with ethernet connection

My Roku box is in a difficult location for a wireless connection with my router--it's down one floor, and is at least 30 feet away. Reception was inconsistent.
Now that I'm using its ethernet connection (through a powerline network adapter), the connection is faster and completely stable.

Small Package - Huge Value

Great product. Easy to operate. Very intuitive. Very fast! I love it! Far superior and much less expensive than the "smart" TV's I've purchased. Going forward my option will be "dumb" TV's with a Roku add on! Love that little device!

Greatest Gadget Since TV

My son in law showed me how the Roku worked so I went out and bought one right away. I liked it so much I bought two more for family members. Now I can see the programs that I missed in series that I was watching and so much more.

Fast and Efficient

Roku 3 is small and out of the way. It's easy to set up and to maintain. The headphone jack is a fantastic feature and has increased the harmony in the household. The button placement on the remote is different from other remotes which makes it a little difficult to get used to. The 30-sec rewind feature is a godsend. Children can easily navigate the screens and the remote. If the remote integrated with the TV for volume, we'd only have the one Roku remote on the coffee table.
