Wireless is worthless

Bought 3 different players and same problem with each. Constantly drops the connection, can not see my network but sees the neighbors network, fails to connect to my network. My Roku 2 worked fine in the exact same location and that is what I use now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor IP design Conflicts with home network

This Roku 3 is constantly interfering with our home network. There is no way to turn off the ROKU SSID. We did not have this problem with our older ROKU. Hope this is addressed soon. Maybe this should be on a different subnet and dedicated to unique port to avoid home network conflicts. Also, need more COX cable channels agreements.

I bought my Roku two months ago and I have been watching it constantly. It so easy to use and has so many channels that you can subscribe too, who needs cable TV.

We now have two Roku 3 players in our home, and soon we'll have a third! Roku made it very easy for use to cancel our satellite service. We thoroughly enjoy it and will never go back.

Great Features BUT not compatible with my older TV

I love my ROKU 3, so much so that I bought a second one for the house a couple months later. HOWEVER, one of my TV's is an older flat screen with 720P resolution, a Sharp. Though it does have 1 HDMI input, apparently the ROKU is not entirely compatible with it. I have visited all the ROKU forums and the consensus seems to be that this is a ROKU software issue. Every now and then, quite randomly, my screen goes purple and displays an error message. If I go to ROKU settings and toggle the resolution from 720 to 1080 and back, it usually solves the problem for a while. I also tried replacing my brand new HDMI cable with a different one, but that made no difference. I do hope ROKU pushes a software upgrade to fix this issue SOON. It is only a problem on my older flatscreen with 720P resolution. My newer TV, with 1080 and 2 HDMI inputs does just fine.

Best ROKU Yet

Simple to operate and set up. The only annoying feature is that the LED on the remote lights up briefly every time it is disturbed.
