So easy to use and convenient.

I love my Roku. It gives me Netflix, Hulu and HBO-Go right on my TV, and it's much easier to use than anything else I've tried. (My TV has roku-like tools built in, as does my Blue-Ray player, but they're terrible!) The folks at Roku have obviously put a lot of thought into how to make it easy to use. The only thing that's disappointing is that a friend has an older model, and Roku hasn't been upgrading her tools like they've upgraded mine. My Netlfix tool now lets me choose from one of three users, but hers doesn't. It makes me worried that Roku will soon stop supporting mine when they replace it with a newer model. I hope they change their policy on that.

Great Features, Easy To Use

This was the ideal upgrade for my system and allows me to connect to a huge variety of digital channels, many that I was not able to connect to via my DVD player, such as Acorn TV. If there was ANYTHING I would wish to add to the Roku 3, it would be a direct digital audio out (coaxial or optical).

It is super fast, always reliable, lot of new things daily, works with my favorite streaming services (Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube, Plex, Spotyify). The remote control is awesome, you don't need to point anywhere to make it work and the headphone jack make you able to hear movies as if you are in a cinema without waking up your kids.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've had it about a month. It has some quirks - it got hung up on activation and wasn't as smooth as expected getting started. Once activated it's been great.

I love Roku 3...it s does what it says it does.
Except....when it goes into sleep mode, it doesn't wake up.. I normally would have to unplug the unit in order to reactivate it

One Big problem

Does what is says basically missing hundreds of channels. Most annoying is the fact many networks offer shows but you have to have a cable subscription to even watch them on Roku. also you add the channel only to find out it says free but you cannot access any shows without subscribing. So, unless you have a current cable subscription you cannot watch anything but Netflix and other channels you already pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The roku 3 is one of the best things that ever happened to TV.there is so many channels that you can watch you never will be bored with TV again.
