easy to use and small

It's a great streamer, sometimes some of the channels crash but that could be the developers for the channels not the roku. Only real complaint is the remote has a headphones jack which is awesome, but mine stopped responding after a couple months and I've tried several different headphones.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best streaming appliance

I have had a Roku for about 4 years. Currently I have two Roku 3's. I also have an apple tv but prefer the Roku's. I had gotten the apple tv before I could stream the iphone and ipad to the tv with the Roku. I like the menu structure of the Roku and the size is just perfect. ( we keep losing the apple tv remote in the folds of the couch ). I also like the diversity of apps. It has both Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as many more. I have used both bluray player streamers and tv streamers, but have not come close to comparing with the Roku. I also like the ability to plug a hard drive or flash drive in and play movies or pictures. For my money it is Roku by a mile.

Very happy with my Roku 3

I got my first Roku box a few years back, and I loved it. Then when the Roku 3 came out, I decided to upgrade. The Roku 3 offers more channels, and its remote listening jack has proven very handy when I've had friends come to stay from overseas. I can watch TV while they sleep or vice versa and everyone's happy. Now if HBO would only offer separate payment for HBO Live on it I'd be much happier with it.

Upgraded to Roku 3 . . . . . .

The ROKU 2 died and bought a ROKU 3. Streaming is faster and the headphone jack on Remote is a nice addition. So far we have been very pleased with ROKU. Looking forward to the new channels as they rollout. Glad we bought it. Installed HDTV antenna and we have "cut the cable". Guess we are not the only ones. Offered us $1/month for one year NOT to go. Linear programming is SO yesterday!!

Remote size

I love the Roku and the features it provides. My on complaint is that the Roku remote is WAY TO SMALL!!!!I remote. I have young children and it is always getting misplaced. In the past year and a half that I have owned it I have probably spent a combined total of 3 days looking for it. I have tried tying it to a string but the loop on the remote is attached to the back of the battery cover and it just came off when the battery cover slides off. Again, I love the Roku but the remote is just to SMALL! I have also tried to get a universal remote to replace it, but found that, that was not an option. Just wanted to let the company know that the size of the remote is VERY FRUSTRATING! I feel if it were a little bigger and thicker it would be a lot less harder to misplace. Thank you for your time...
