Good item for watching Netflix

This unit is a lot better than using a DVD to watch Netflix etc. A lot easier to use. Love the headphone function, cuts out the TV or Amp/Rcvr speakers (I am still trying to figure out how that works). Great audio and video.. I would wish for a on/of
switch, the unit gets very warm when on for 24 hers.

I've had this for about 6 months. Overall, it is a very good product. I have had some issues where I had to unplug/plug it in to get it to work. Also, there are times it gets very hot. I have propped it on it's side between a couple of other components, and this seems to solve the heat problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The image quality and lack of buffering on the Roku 3 are wonderful. The remote control works like a charm and the unofficial channels you can put on the box are pretty impressive. If I have any complaint, it is that when they speak of how many channels there are to choose from, it sounds like you are talking about media from the major players. Instead, a large number of the channels are quite obscure. Again, that is just a small complaint. Overall, it is a great device.

I bought the Roku 3 as an upgrade unit for my bedroom. The wireless headphone feature was the reason for my decision. My wife always complained that she could not sleep while I watched TV. The headphones are awesome. Great wireless sound and no more unsolicited commentary while I am watching my shows. Roku is a great product especially if you have Time-Warner Cable and do not wish to pay for a second cable box for another room.

Love it! Only drawback is when fast forward/reverse doesn't show the visual progress of where you are. If it worked like a DVR I would be totally happy. I don't know if this is with the roku or the source of the video though.
