Easy to install and easy to use.

I bought my Roku about 9 months ago because I had experienced it babysitting with my niece's children. It was extremely easy to install and has given me access to many movies and shows that I didn't even know about. Also I can easily move it from one TV to another to enjoy it in different rooms.

I like it so much, I rarely watch on regular cable, with the exception of new broadcasts. I especially enjoy the History channel.

Works great. I sometimes watch while on my exercise equipment love being able to listen to the audio through the remote. Wish that Comcast allowed Showtime and HBO apps

Great streaming box with one single drawback. That is, the wireless direct communication between remote and the Roku3 is very strong and can (and, does) impact other wifi signals. IMHO, this could be eliminated by using either Bluetooth or, enabling the Roku channel to be changed independently. As is, the Roku inherently "follows" the primary router channel and frequency. I have to agree with the many others that this is something that needs to be addressed in the future. With this one exception, it is "as good as it gets" for the purposes it is intended for.

Best Streaming Player Available

I have had a ROKU player ever since they introduced their first one several years ago. The ROKU 3 is nice in that it comes with both Ethernet and WiFi as well as 802.11N WiFi capability. The interface is clean and simple, but nice to look at. I will say that my Netflix experience has been better over that of the ROKU 2 where, even when connected to Ethernet I would have a lot of "Loading" going on. All of the content I have added to the player streams smoothly, and I love that I can use the PLEX app on it to view my home collections. The only problem I have had, which has been intermittent is that the volume sometimes will suddenly 'go low'. It occurs on all channels so it's not the source material. The dialogue and sounds are just slightly off key and are too low. It is like everyone has the proverbial 'Frog In The Throat'. The beeps when making selections on the player are the giveaway that something isn't quite right with the sound, but a restart of the player has resolved it for me. It has been widely intermittent.

I have had the Roku 3 for around a year now and just love it. It offer ease of streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime) that just cannot be beat. Watching all of the online content that is available on my tv to that of a computer or phone/tablet the experiences do not begin to compare brings entertainment right where you want it.

The Roku gives me control over what is viewed in my home. It is better than cable as far as savings and decent content. Now I choose what channel I watch and what I want to watch on that channel.
