Like the roku

I like the roku but the remote goes through batteries like crazy. Even if the tv is off the remote is always on. I had to get rechargeable batteries because of this. If you don't mind getting rechargeable batteries I would recommend this product.

We have been using ROKU for years and never been sorry, We find lots of things my wife and I enjoy and with the new ROKU 3 I can always look and listen privately when I need to.

Easy Peasy to use-Perfection in a small package!

We've had this Roku for a few months now and it's living up to it's reputation. We got hooked a few years back with the very first one and wanted an upgrade, this one suits our needs perfectly. Easy setup, easy updates, easy to use. Looks very sleek, and because we chose the wireless option we can use it virtually anywhere in the house without being in the same room with router & modem. We've tried a couple of the other options out there, and come back to this one because I feel they've done it right so why mess with perfection? Super happy with our Roku 3 and I highly recommend it.

I've had nothing but issues with the Roku 3 since my purchase date. My first Roku 3 had major audio issues, especially with Netflix where it would garble the audio until I backed out of the show and back into it to fix it.
Roku sent me a new replacement Roku 3 which now doesn't have this issue with Netflix. But this box still has audio issues, at least 50% o the time it will start movies/shows (doesn't matter the channel, it's happened on Netflix, Plex, Amazon Prime Video) with no audio at all. Same procedure as before, back out of show and play again to fix the problem.
I've also had an issue with the Roku 3 rebooting itself at random. Happens once a week at least where I will be flipping through shows and it will just reboot itself.
Not happy with the purchase at this point, would not buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've bought more rokus for my other family members. Had to cut costs by giving up TimeWarner cable for my brother and roku was the way to go.
