Bad Experience

First one failed on firmware update after spending a weekend waiting for the site to become available. Second one lost sound save for headset in three months. Gave up. Sticking with 4 roku 2s.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned my Roku 3 for over 6 months and am very, very happy with it. I have had no problem with it at all. The set up was very simple. You have to sign up for a few accounts, but it is more time consuming than difficult. Set up and sign up can be done in an hour, just make sure to go to providers site and find out what exactly they are offering. You do need to make sure the reception has a good connection, basically in an open area where it can get the Wi-Fi signal easily and keep it within range. I did all of this and have had no problem. The streaming service is flawless and was very happy with the providers that Roku had available. Again just read the instructions and follow them, find out about provider services before hand and you will have streaming service that is excellent.

We have had this for about one year and use it almost every day. We have very high speed cable internet so the picture quality equals our 1080i cable service.
