I bought 2. One for my BF and one for myself, as I travel and am away. Love this and glad my sister had referred me to it. I wish I could have other channels that are not currently available (more Football options and Starz). There are channels that you watch that do have commercials and have to pay to get commercial free which if its a one time fee okay, but not monthly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a month ago because of the Christian programming I can watch and I love it I wouldn't have snything else in my house if it weren't for my husband

I bought the ROKU-3 with a great deal of apprehension. My son had heard about it and after he learned of my frustration with basic TV and its hounding commercials, he thought I might appreciate what ROKU had to offer. The set-up etcetera went well. I had some problems initially staying hooked up to ROKU, possibly due to my use of different Internet companies but over time things worked out. At this point, I enjoy it and recommend it. The offerings from ROKU are sometimes mind-boggling and I have basically stuck to about 12 of its sites. I regularly move my ROKU between two residences. I have learned that the remote is highly sensitive (the motion of a car activates it) so in transport always remove the batteries.

I started with the Roku 2 and was very happy with it. Bought the Roku 3 because it had a headphone jack. Boy am I glad I did. The Roku 3 is faster and has a better interface, not to mention tons of great channels. Love the headphones and volume control right on the remote. The only downside is the battery life on the remote is a bit shorter but I invested in rechargeable batteries so no problem. Buy it, you won't regret it.
