Excellent remote-from-couch experience

I "cut the cord" from cable several years ago, and the only thing missing was sitting on the couch flipping thru the channels. Roku # ROCKS. Why? 1) Easy to Use 2) Affordable Entertainment 3) Convenient "Remote-From-Couch" Experience
I hope more networks allow live streaming in the future!

Love my Roku 3, But...

I really love my Roku 3 and I've done away with Cable, Direct TV etc. But I would like to see some added features to a hopefully possible Roku 4 release. Digital audio output would be really good. More internal memory and a faster processor. And I know this has more to do with the channel providers but maybe Roku could work on it from their end. Channel apps for streaming live or video on demand from channels like SyFy, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. I think some people would actually pay a small monthly price for channels they want instead of how Cable makes you pay for groups of channels just to get the one that you want. Other than that, I love it!

The installation was easy, especially when augmented with UTube videos. I like the choices of channels and am still exploring. But the interfaces of PBS ( seriously, I have to scroll over 40 out of ~ 80 choices, to choose NewsHour? ), CBSN is very jerky - I am always getting a wait a few minutes message, Sky News is totally the best with continuous streaming). I would like to see BBC and America Aljazeera streaming also.

Bought this yesterday to replace a Roku Streaming Stick. It has the same issues I fought with as the Streaming Stick, only not as bad. I had been told it was the best Roku unit made. So far I'm not real impressed. My 'yes' recommendation goes with a caution to realize its limitations.

New Roku is great. Picture quality is fantastic. Supports a weak wifi signal with no problems.
