Great Streaming Player

This is my 2nd ROKU player. The 1st was not hooked to a smart TV. This ROKU 3 is replacing my smart Panasonic menu. I lke ROKU's menu much better. and the selection is fantastic.

I'm so impressed with the channels available and the awesome price for this technology. I'd recommend it highly to anyone who is looking to pick the line up of what you want to watch instead of a cable company choosing channels for you.

Never thought TV could be this good!

I have been very satisfied with my ROKU 3 , I was astonished to find so MANY channels to watch. They anything and everything you could ever want to watch. I am seriously thinking of giving up cable television..yes it's that good! The only negative is the lack of being able to manage all the channels into groupings of like channels (that is without a lot of time being spent). They should allow you to select more than one channel to move to a folder with other like channels to make it easier to find what you are looking for without having to scan through the hundreds of selections just to find the one you are looking for. But that is nothing compared to what ROKU has to offer in the variety of channels both public and private. Keep up the great job and try to tweak a few of the options please! Loyal Fan Forever!!

Makes any HDMI equipped TV a SMART TV

Because the price of cable tv kept going higher and higher, I had to no longer have cable tv in my home. I am on a fixed income. When I heard about Roku from my daughter I really felt this would be ideal fo rme. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase the Roku3. Best decision I have made in a long time. I have lots of choices for viewing. I still get to see most of my favorite shows (sometimes a day later,no problem)And one of my most favorite channels is Acorn (I love the programs from Great Britian) Thank you for Roku 3 well worth every penny and more with Beautiful,clear pictures and wonderful programing. I am a 74 year old woman and had no trouble whatsoever installing my Roku I highly recommend this wonderful product.

Better than a cable box

Supports Time Warner Cable on-demand better than my cable box. I wish that Roku had better DLNA support for decoding and downmixing of DTS and AC3 audio streams. My 4 year old DVD player and my Android phone has better DLNA support.

We tired of "reality cable/satellite TV" and have found that Roku to be the optimal alternative for us. You have to purchase a separate antenna for the "local channels", but that simply enhances the whole experience. We just wonder how long will this last.
