I like the fact that you have lots of different programming to chose from. There's crafts shows, religious, kids, old shows , old movies, geek programming, car buff shows, & many others. I would love to see more cable choices though. I still have my cable because the Roku doesn't supply me with some of my favorites. You really need to add Hulu or Netflix too. I didn't have any trouble hooking up & getting started. Over all, I am very pleased.

I started with a Roku XS, which lacks a lot of the great features Roku 3 has and was given an Apple TV about same time. The Apple is not in the same zip code as the Roku products and is literally gathering dust on a little used TV. Look forward to future improved models from Roku......keep up the great work you have done so far.

Love my little black box!

I have owned Roku for a long time but when I saw the ad that I could watch YouTube on my TV I had to get the new one even if I didn't need one. I watch a lot of different shows love old westerns, I'm a quilter so I can watch all the instructional videos. Pretty amazing device. Love it. Amazon prime has thousands of free movie videos which I watch on Roku and now you can play your Cloud Music with Roku now, my surround sound system really rocks the house.

Problems with Roku 3 and mlb.tv

I bought this Roku player for the sole purpose of utilizing it to watch mlb.tv. From the beginning of this baseball season to date I have had nothing but aggravation. The stream is slow to load and almost every night I get freezes and error messages. In previous years I used the Roku XS and had only minimal difficulties. I have tried all the "fixes" I have read about online, but the issues persist. I am not sure where to turn, but I am mad and sure I am not alone with these issues. It may not even be the fault of the new Roku model, but based on my experience with it, I cannot rate it higher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
