Exactly what I wanted!

Not much for regular TV but love movies. The Roku sreams movies wigh high quality when I am ready to watch. The features are simple but effective. The headphone jack on the remote is the best, it lets me watch movies without disturbing my wife.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very glad I purchased my Roku 3. I have had hours of enjoyment and would recommend it to anyone. I intend to use it more often than I have had time for...and am rethinking whether or not I want to keep cable.

After my last review the roku has now decided to randomly lose all its channels, and require a factory reset to function again. Had to relink all my channels and content. Very annoying. 0/10

My Roku

I've had my roku a few months now it works great the only problem I have had was it
froze on me two times but there is a reset button on it which did the trick other than
that streaming is great I have had no other problems with it since most of all I like not
having a cable bill

Malfunctions!!!

I've had the Roku 3 for a few months now. After 2 weeks it couldn't recognize my display settings so I would have to reconfigure everytime I wanted to watch tv. A month later, the sound settings screwed up, and now I have to perform a full reset to the Roku box anytime I want to watch tv. I have a Roku 1 player that is 2 1/2 years old that works flawlessly. I would recommend that player until they get all of the bugs out of the Roku 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Roku 3 I purchased is literally the single greatest home entertainment purchase I have ever made. By cancelling my cable subscription and using only Roku and an HD antenna I have cut my Comcast bill in HALF. I had access to Hulu and Netflix through my game console for awhile and it worked okay, but by having a device like Roku dedicated to only streaming media, whatever I choose to watch is easier to find and starts almost IMMEDIATELY. No delays, no "buffering", no BS. Also, when they claim you get thousands of channels for free, they are NOT kidding. You don't have to pay a dime outside the cost of the device and your internet if you do not wish to. Right out of the gate you can watch just about any type of programming you enjoy for FREE (to be fair, most of these free channels do not feature current movies or TV shows, but if you can't find hundreds of hours of entertainment in what they do offer then you are simply not looking). I read dozens of reviews for this device (and others) and kept coming back to Roku every time. I would suggest the Roku 2 or 3 as they really do seem to have the best features for the money, but you can't wrong no matter which version you choose. Really, stop reading this and buy one. Right now. Really. Why are you still reading? Roku. Now.
