Don't know what to say about Rokue 3, because if you are tired of cable TV, this is the best way to let them know .

This thing works really well... no buffering, really easy to install and a large selection of channels to add, many channels are free...love it.

I bought this Roku to get a perspective on what if I dont have cable anymore. I am glad I bought it because I can watch shows that cable does not have. If you subscribe to Netflix, Hulu, and others this will satisfy your craving of watching tv shows or movies. It may not show the latest shows but you can get by watching something else. Besides with work and daily life challenges who had time to watch prime time tv shows on certain days. It a waste of money paying for cable and you hardly open the tv til the weekend but then thou have something to do on the weekend. With Roku, you pay the unit and everything else is free. When my Comcast contact is over next year, gonna get a 2nd one to put in the living room and just pay for "high speed" internet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this for close to a year now and do not regret getting it.It is very compact and takes up hardly any space, you can watch what you want when you want.The special they have every now and then like free just released movie of your choice is a extra perk to.

My 1st Gen Roku works great, version 3 even better

I love my AppleTV, but Roku has them beat in just about every area. This 3rd version is unbelievably great, and the only thing I can imagine that would improve it substantially would be to allow me to create a Roku queue where I could add content from a variety of sources and stream easily from my home menu (or perhaps even start streaming random items from my Roku queue with the touch of a single button).
The headphone port on the remote, the ability to search all the channels at once, the quick response, the easy ability to stream show after show (with Netflix)...and I know this Roku does a lot more, but all my needs are met.
My 1st generation Roku player is still going strong, but the 3rd generation definitely offers a multitude of improvements and upgrades. I'm curious to see what they'll add for the 4th generation!
