Far beyond my expectations!

I subscribed to Hulu.Plus to watch through the Roku player. For the first time since we have owned a TV my wife and I ALWAYS have something we want to watch, including programs from other countries. On our time.

Roku Is A Great Substitute For A Relationship

I haven't had a serious relationship in over a year but I could care less because my Roku 3 is a terrific companion. I have access to all my favorite networks and seemingly limitless viewing options, and it's easy to use. The only bad thing about Roku 3 is it is not very good at cuddling.

Love the Roku!

I upgraded to the Roku3 from an older Roku and I love it! Hulu seems to work better on this. Easy to navigate all apps. I actually tried and returned Amazon Fire before purchasing the Roku3; hated it! Great selection of apps; including the much longed for YouTube.

Great Access to Media

Overall I am happy with the Roku 3, although I have been experiencing some issues with it freezing and not playing my video files through USB. Access to free content is amazing, I use Amazon prime, Netflix, and Hulu frequently and it is very accessible and easy to navigate menus. I am also enjoying the PBS kids app as my son loves these types of shows that I dont mind him watching. The remote is easy to use and handy, especially the feature where I can plug headphones in while my family sleeps. One of the biggest downsides for me is the fact that it wont play lots of my media files, mp4 even, for whatever reason -- Roku just freezes and reboots. They really need to expand their playable media file types. One of the biggest reasons I picked up this device was for this USB feature. One other downside is the thing is on all day every day, even it they say it only consumes so little power. Overall I would recommend for streaming fans, might want to wait for better playable content if you have lots of home media. 1080p is also a huge plus.
