I bought mine in Sept of 2013 and have told countless others about it some have purchased the Roku 3 after looking at mine. My wife and I enjoy the ease of use, all of the channels and the support if we need it.

I enjoy this product. My only complaint is that in nearly every session the unit freezes at some point. In most cases I have to reboot it. Very annoying.

great with disappointments

It is a tremendous piece of technology with content that has something that should please everyone my only gripe is the BUFFERING that occurs on some stations not all stations but if is one that you are watching it will drive you up a wall

If you do not have a smart TV and don not want to feed the hungry cable companies, this little gizmo is awesome. I can access Newflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and a host of other channels

Great, but with one caution

I love all of the new features this model has. It's newer processor does speed up it's operations.But one word of caution....for some strange reason this model sets up an Ad-Hoc network that uses the same frequency as your network's wireless router. If you use a wi-fi snooping utility such as "Inssider", you will notice a signal on the same frequency as your network that will be named "Direct-Roku-####" The "#" will be some random number. This signal will cause interference on your network, which can slow your network's speed and could possibly disable your Wi-Fi entirely. If you think you can escape it by changing your network's frequency, SURPRISE!!!!...it moves right along with the change! If you connect the Roku via Ethernet cable, it will stop transmitting on that frequency. (I've heard it moves to the 5ghz band, but have not confirmed it) So, if you can wire this Roku directly, it is great! If you HAVE to use Wi-Fi, BEWARE!

Easy to setup and enjoy right away!

I have had my Roku 3 for 9 months now. I was able to set it up, register it, and begin using it immediately. I am not a techie person and I was able to do everything without a problem. The unit itself is very small taking up very little space. The screen view has a great design and responds to the remote quickly without any glitches. The remote has an earphone jack which is a very nice feature and this unit also supports closed caption. I am very pleased! Great product and works as advertised. I have Netflix, PBS, and several other channels on it. It is a great product!
