The only problem I am having is that the ear phone function on the Roku3 will eat batteries. The last about 4 day's. When the batteries goes out you have no control over the unit. So if you are watching a movie you had better have extra batteries handy or you will miss the rest of the movie because you cannot shut it down. I use the ear phones because I cannot hear well off the speakers.

I enjoy using the Roku. One product improvement would be to enable TV volume when using the ear buds. This wayboth individual and group can be served. Or the individual only, by turning the TV volume down to "0"

I have had my Roku 3 for about 2 years now and I have marveled at it since I bought it. It is flawless, easy, and completely entertaining. I would not want to be without it. If you don't have one, you are missing out on a TV watching miracle.

I got this a little over a month ago, and it's got it's good points as well as it's not so good. It's good that I can watch my HBO Go and other channels that uses DirectTv as my provider, which doesn't include Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Jr., Fox and some other channels. I like being able to access my movies thru vudu, but would like to be able to access my disney movies that I have on iTunes or Disney Movies Anywhere since I have a lot of movies on it, but I can't. I also have to disconnect and reconnect the Roku 3 almost every time we use it as we get the purple screen that says content not available but I can hear the title playing in the background, and once I unplug and replug back in and it reboots then the title will play. It's a hassle, but it works... just a bit of an irritation I guess you could say. For some it's a big hassle, like my husband and kids, as my kids can't do it, so one of us has to do it for them. And if you are impatient then it would be a big inconvenience. I would recommend this, if someone wants to see their movies thru vudu, and be able to watch HBO Go, and play some games like the included angry birds, but if you want to access your disney movies thru disney movies anywhere, or iTunes, then perhaps you shouldn't get this because you'll be disappointed, and I'd go with Apple TV instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have my Roku3 for several months now and am completely satisfied. Have only had to reboot once. If only my internet service were so reliable. It wasn't the most friendly to set up, but the issues were not all Roku-specific.
