I bought an Amazon Fire streamer and then a Roku. I got rid of the Fire and love the Roku. It does all I want it to do. The only problem I've had is the control button for the volume of the ear bud is in a place where I inadvertently push it as I try to push the other controls on the front of the remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient but...

My Roku3 is a very convenient player. I have it integrated into my surround sound system with a single HDMI cable and I use wifi to my N-Router. However there are a few things I wish worked better...(1) Picture quality is not 1080P, even thought it is set that way. Particularly on Netflix, which has a screen door look and blotchy background imagry. (2) The Netflix app needs major improvements. Its difficult to navigate with as there are too many scrolling lists (horizontally and vertically). I have to scroll every time to get to my recently watched row b/c you force me to the top with a featured title each time. And, it often hangs when the app is updated, forcing me to reboot the whole Roku. Overall, not a great user experience.

I bought this ROKU 3 two months age and so far so good it works great. It gets all the shows that I don't get on Netflix plus old TV shows. Well worth the money I paid for it. Mike H.

I like the ability to get movies I missed when in theaters, review TV series, get free music radio, and use the USB to play my own music on a thumb drive. The headset ability allows me to listen without disturbing others.
