Love my Roku

I have had my Roku for a few months now and I am very happy. I disconnected all my cable and just kept my internet connections. Don't miss my tv at all. Anything I want to see I can get and so many choices I will never be able to watch everything I am interested in. I can watch drama when I feel like it or I can check out new comedy any time. I have watched many series from beginning to end over the course of a few days and I love this type viewing. No need to wait til next week to get the next episode. I haven't even started to explore all the channels. Very happy.

Couldn't ask for better

We just upgraded from our 7 year old Roku XR to a Roku XS. We don't have a HDMI TV so we chose the Roku XS. We love it and the only thing I would have liked is a headphone jack on our remote like the Roku 3 has.
We cut our cable, which we should have done many years before. We our Moku over the air antenna, we get 26 channels, but with Roku we have more than we will ever watch.

I now have 2 ROKU LT!

I have 2 ROKU LTs since I have not graduated to a flat screen yet (TVs work fine), so I purchased LT, very easy set up with my (Fat Back TVs), and I brag about this. I save a lot of money by not having satellite TV and Cable. I found out about ROKU from a local convent, discontinued the Wi-Fi portable and purchased a router and have unlimited streaming and not running out of Giga bytes trying to watch a movie. Very helpful with assisting me to get closed captions. Not every thing is closed captioned but I am quite pleased.

Roku opens up so many possibilities. I can listen to Christian music, watch sports, check out Netflix...and all from one source!

I am thankful my cousin introduce me to it. For a single mother like me have only one income coming in... This is the best way to make your kids happy. I love it. I recommend this to everyone. You must buy it.

Unreliable!!

We have had our Roku for about a year. In the last 6 months it has become more and more unreliable. At least once a day it shows an error message. After the error message we have to unplug the Roku and wait for it to start again. We have tried new cables many times with no improvement. If it wasn't for the constant error messages this would be a great product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little box, but needs chromecast/airplay

Pros: Easy to use, fast, great streamer for Amazon prime, Almost all of the premium channels (HBO, SHO, EPIX) Cons: Should have chromecast / airplay type support. At least airplay for audio. Needs a way to have favorite/preferred "channels" layout

Everything in one

The Roku makes enjoying entertainment easy and brings everything together in one spot to manage. We no longer have to use the features of the TV, DVD player and computer for most things we want to watch. It is all centrally located through the Roku!
