Easy to use

I have had this product for over a year along with a roku 2. I used these for my kids rooms since we have given up cable. At first I thought the kids would have an issue but they didn't, they love it. It's easy for them to use and has everything we need. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the remote. It is very small and easy to loose. The ok button in the middle was very easy for my kids to remove, I would change the design of that.

Forget buying a smart TV - a ROKU 3 is much better

I was very disappointed when I bought my first smart TV. Having already owning a Roku (Roku 2 XS), the smart TV streaming feature appeared amateurish and crude with few apps. I bought a Roku 3 for my new smart TV - its a much better option. Smart TV manufacturers virtually never upgrade their smart TV software on older sets, while the Roku software and features are upgraded/enhanced automatically and special features are added for holidays.
The Roku is very easy to setup (you need to setup a Ruku account online and then enter the code of your Roku plus the password (PSK) for your wireless router).
I have 4 TVs and 4 Roku's - I use the Time Warner app on the Roku's to stream Time Warner HD channels to all my TVs including those with a DVR (when 2 programs are recording simultaneously I can still watch live TV via the Roku and the Time Warmer app.), plus you do not need an actual physical cable hook-up to a TV, just a Roku and your wireless router (I just need a TV and a Roku and I can stream live TV to any room in my house via my Time Warner app).

I love my roku it's very user friendly and easy to use. Even my parents and children have no problems using it. Has plenty of apps to choose from. A feature I really like is the headphone jack on the remote. So I can stay up and watch without keeping others awake. Or for kids to use.

CUT THE CABLE CORD!!!

i bought this 3 months ago, and immediately cut the cord. You can subscribe to 10 different services for less money than you pay per months for dish or cable. And you will still have an endless supply of what YOU want to watch. after i was so satisfied i bought one for each room my family has a tv in. Best investment in a long time!

I bought this as an early Christmas present for myself last year, and it's still awesome. Much faster than the 2 we had, and my wife loves the headphone in the remote.
It has pretty much replaced live television for our needs, between Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube.
