Great TV Streamer

I bought this about a year ago when it was still new and so happy I did, love the ROKU. The set up was easy, had access to so many free channels, had a lot of cool features, background. What's even more impressive was the fact that I was able to watch the World Cup live right at my home. Def saved me a lot of money cutting the cable!

I love my Roku 3. Not only do we use it for news, music, and sports, but we also have the ability to plug in our own drive, giving us access to our home movies and music. It's a great tool for our every need and the large app/channel selection gives us a ton of options for browsing content. I'd be lost without my roku 3.

I just love my Roku. It's super easy to install and easier to use. I have either given a Roku device or shown family members how easy it is to see programming on their schedule.

The Best Roku on the Market!

We've had the Roku 3 about 8 months and find it to be just outstanding. We also have a Roku 2 and the newer version is far superior in many ways. It is extremely easy to set up and the performance quality is unsurpassed.

If you don't care about HD get the Roku 2

I love my Roku! We bought a Roku when they first came out and canceled our cable. Best decision ever! My Roku 2 was on its last legs after 2 years and kept freezing so I decided to upgrade to the Roku 3. Well I wish I would have stuck with the Roku 2... Besides being HD compatible there is not much else to love about the 3. Every time I turn on my TV I have unplug and plug in again the Roku. This is due to an error message "HDCP unauthorized content disabled"; you hear the show but cannot see it. What I have read is the HDMI cables are extremely sensitive on this model. I have bought 3 HDMI cables to try to correct but nothing works. I have taken to unplugging the cables after I am done. So if HD TV is what you want than you will have to contend with this, if you can do without go the Roku 2 model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Goodbye cable, Hello Roku!

We finally ditched our cable provider and couldn't be happier. There are plenty of good shows and movies available through the Roku and i'm already saving money compared to my previous bill. The picture quality is top notch and adding a headphones jack to the remote was a smart touch. I like the Roku 3. I like it a lot.

A useful convenience in home theatre comfort

Acting on a CNET recommendation, I elected to purchase the ROKU 3. Installation and set-up were relatively simple. My only complaint is in the fact that I am not able to stream Amazon Prime through the ROKU.
