Awesome little box

We love our Rokus. We have three, count them 1, 2, 3! We have added antennas and when we want to see local channels it is an easy switch. Love it! Lots of free channels.

Good addtion

We use it to watch acorn British TV, We like the British mysteries and costum movies that are not available on network or normal cable. The Roku unit was a perfect answer to a way of receiving and viewing the video content that we wanted. With its ease of installation and set up it made it a dream.

Downgrade of Roku3 over Roku2

Although adding the additional user to the running of Netflix on Roku 3 was probably a good move for many, or most, people, the loss of several items on the display I find to be hard to live with. Netflix mostly.
1) Index numbering of each item within a category is gone -- bad move.
2) Loss of info about each show -- bad move.
3) Difficulty leaving Netflix to get to other channels - a true in-your-face bad move.
4) Will not stop when the end of show is reached-- keeps going into the next show without stopping -- bad move.
5) Like the earphone connection but wish there was an OPTION to allow both earphone and speaker at the same time -- hard of hearing for one person.
5) Overall rating of Roku 3 --Great.

great, except subtitles

I bought Roku because I wanted the programming and SUBTITLES. I haven't been able to read the subtitles easily even after attempting to change the font. They default back to the shadowed images. (otherwise all ratings would be exellent)

Best device money can buy

The Roku is by far the best device I've ever purchased, especially considering your bang for your buck. I have run a high-tech company for 20 years, and have used lots of different gadgets, so that says a lot.

This is an excellent product. We had an early Roku product that served us well, but Roku 3 is ahead of the curve in technology. We love it.
