Alost ready to say "Goodbye" to Comcast

I got the Roku 3 new for around $70 and figured at that price, it's worth a try. My wife and I are expecting our first in December and since the babies room does not have a cable hook-up I thought this would be a nice alternative. Connecting to my wireless was simple and quick. Added Netflix and other channels easily. Works great...so good I moved the box to our bedroom. Might get a stick to the babies room since I don't think we need so many channels and features in there. The only hassle (though I'm getting used to it) is going here and there for channel codes and signing up for subscriptions on different web sites. Ya just gotta sit down and do it all at once I guess. Overall, GREAT!! Can wait to give Comcast V the boot.

I purchased this last month. I have an older model that is still working fine from 2011. I tell people who will listen to me to get the Roku. The only thing I would change is the "OK" button, wish is was in the middle of the arrow button like in the older one I have. Thank you Roku!

We originally bought an Amazon Fire TV because we have a Prime membership, but it was terrible. Playback and commands lagged, it buffered constantly, and it kept losing the wireless signal despite numerous attempts at troubleshooting. I shipped it right back and ordered a Roku 3, but we worried that maybe the problems were common to all streaming media devices. We were pleasantly surprised, though! The Roku maintains the wifi signal, has very clean playback, a very user-friendly interface, and even works better with Prime than the Fire TV did. Very happy customer!

Bought the 3 after having the Roku Lite. The 3 format is by far easier and better to look at and it runs much faster.

I purchased my Roku3 approximately 1 year ago. Best entertainment money I have ever spent. I didn't even know watching TV like this existed and the Roku products were suggested to me by a friend. Now I can't imagine watching TV any other way!

Excellent little TOY..watch all baseball games, and then binge watch all my series without commercials..great movies. Best investment we ever made.Enjoy the headset also.
