Why do they charge for shows that regular channels has? And they even charge older movies. Why?

The Roku offers almost endless entertainment opportunity. The Roku 3 model seems
substantially more nimble than the previous models. After a period of glitchy operation, Roku seems to have worked out some bugs and now offers fast response
without frequent pauses and rewinds. It's quite smooth now.
We have found the Roku 3, with its faster chip well worth the price dififference.

I bought this model to upgrade from an older model (XS). Transferring the configuration from my previous model to the new was simple and direct. Wireless networking with 802.11n support a boon to those who cannot use the wired Ethernet connection. I have not had any problems using the Roku 3 but as I am a casual user, I doubt that my usage pushes it to its limits.
I would recommend this to a friend!

roku 3 is probably the best streaming device I have owned. I have used other roku and sony devices but none possess the features of roku 3. i.e. remote does not use line of sight to work, you can be in another room and the remote will still work. you can use the remote to plug your earbuds into, thus allowing you to listen privately for example, late at night, so you won't disturb others in the house. I would recommend buying this device.

Should have bought one a long time ago

Having owned a Sony Bravia video link I thought the streamers were all the same. When the Bravia started giving us problems we went shopping for a new video link. The compact size, wifi connectivity, easy set up, program choice, easy navigation, and fast response made instant fans out of my wife and I. So far to date we have had no issues either.!

I bought the Roku to replace the LG DVD & streaming player and went beyond my expectations. I love it and protect it as if it is my child. It is a miracle worker in disguise!!! I encourage everyone to buy it.

Great streaming plater

Got a Roku 3 about 9 months ago and love it. I primarily use it for Watch Disney Junior, PBS Kids, Watch ESPN, occasional rental streaming, and to stream my own media from my network connected server through Plex. It plays pretty much anything you throw at it. I have also used a WD Live streaming box and I think the Roku interface is much better,

Effortless Streaming - Great Customer Service

I've had three Roku players, and each has been flawless. I buy new ones just to keep up with the technology. Each new Roku device is faster and easier to use than the last one. I just installed a Streaming Stick today, and am very happy with it so far, too. Customer Service has always been excellent, too. I never feel rushed, and every problem I've had has been solved in one phone call. This review is on the Roku 3.
