Simply the best

This is a great product with a lot of content. There are about 10 channels everyone should have, then the rest is up to you. I doubt any two people will have exactly the same group of channels, especially if they are using the Roku box to the fullest.

I have several Roku models, and this one is the best! I like the quick response, and the added features. One thing that is very important to me, is the physical ethernet network connection. My area has a high amount of wireless access points, and during peak hours, the wireless traffic reduces my connection speeds, sometimes to the point that I lose signal completely. With the hardwired connection, I never lose a signal, or see the dreaded 'buffering' notice. I also have owned several media players from other manufacturers, and Roku has them all beat with their multitude of available channels, and well thought out user interface.

I have bought all the Roku models and the 3 is clearly the best for function and mobility. The ear phone is a value added item that I use frequently.

Great Device!

We bought this a couple months ago and use it all the time. We love getting all the free content and being able to easily access that and our paid content services any time. I do wish it could be turned off when we are not using it, but the only way to do that is to unplug it. We have had a few issues with it freezing or the screen going blank, and have to unplug and reboot it to start again. Otherwise, it has worked great for us.

Roku v Apple TV

I have had my Apple TV for over year. I use it when on the road but never had anything to compare it to. I bought the Roku3 recently due to problems with Netflix. Amazing!! It is head over heels better than the Apple in all aspects but mostly in speed of delivery. So glad I got it.

The roku has all the latest shows. Why spend 60 or more dollars for cable. It's a good device to get if you want to save. Netflix and Huluplus are just 8 dollars a month. I would recommend the roku.

I have 4 Roku boxes. I only have 1 Roku 3. The Roku 3 has greatly improved startup time and features. However, I have had streaming issues with my Roku boxes and Dual band routers. This may be due to me not knowing how to configure the routers. I had to go back to a single band router to get all of my Roku boxes to stream consistently. With that said, I really love my Roku boxes and would recommend them to most people looking for a streaming box.
