I have the previous 'top level' Roku 2, but the Roku 3 is way much better. You can definitely see the WiFi is much better and faster.

This is the way to go. I think there is a great selection of channels and games to play.
the option to have both ethernet and wifi is a no brainer.

Loved my Roku3 for monthis, until...

Loved everything about and worked perfectly for first year. Now, every few hours i need to restart it because the playback is slowed. Audio sounds deeper and slower, video is jerky. A quick restart fixes the problem but it comes back a day later. Wish this could be corrected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A must have if TV is not set up to Cable/Satellite

Incredibly easy to set up if you have wireless internet. The channels offered have a large variety of programs to watch...a great alternative to cable/satellite.

So far Roku 3 has performed well but lags even when the internet is fine? Also needs an off switch? It runs 24/7. Gets really hot too?

free channels not available via Roku in Perú
