So Easy, Fast, Uninterrupted Streaming

I love this Roku. I bought a Samsung Smart TV so I can stream video. The TV would constantly disconnect, get locked up or pause video. I bought the Roku 3 and I don't have any of these issues. So easy to setup. I love the simple controller, with minimalist approach. Press the up down, side to side buttons and press enter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient

Mostly used for YouTube and Netflix. More convenient than using my laptop and cheaper than a next gen console. Minus one star because YouTube displays every video about a half inch wider than my screen. I've tried every format adjustment on my tv and I can't fix it. Roku does not have any format/aspect ratio adjustment features. This is important to me because I watch a lot of e-sports and all of the info graphics (i.e. scores, timers, etc) are all displayed around the border that gets cut off. Would never notice it otherwise.

I actually have 3 rokus. I cut the cable late last year and haven't looked back. The Roku 3 is just awesome. It can connect to your router via wifi, or course, but it also has a direct ethernet connection. Very, very fast. Lots of channels available. I set up a media server on my desktop pc ans stream movies and music through the roku to the tv. I love it!

Disclaimer here: I am NOT a techie/tv geek... I don't get it, I don't care to...I've long been a casual TV watcher, not big into movies, etc... I got a Roku 3 when I decided to cut the cable cord. I was worried that I'd have trouble navigating this or that it would take too much time to set up or get used to. All of that was wrong! The Roku is fantastic. Super easy to set up, link via a computer to various applications, etc... It is so simple to turn on, connect to Netflix, Hulu, etc... have had no issues at all. Absolutely love using it to stream Pandora to my TV while I clean or make dinner. Absolutely happy with my purchase!

I use this every day to stream Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Pandora, YouTube, Plex, and more. It's awesome and works quickly/smoothly. The M-Go movie service is great too. I didn't think I'd use it much, but it's become the first place I check to rent a movie.

Great product

I use the Roku for Netflix, NBA league pass and youtube. It works wonderfully. I also have a Chromecast that I never use. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a cheaper effective alternative to a smart TV. I personally would suggest this over a smart TV but thats only because I know nothing about them.
