Better Than My Apple TV!

Like many others, I had big troubles with NetFlix and my Apple TV. I'm a MacHead but we couldn't do without NetFlix so in a desperate move, I read online comparisons of straming devices. The Roku 3 constanly got very high marks so I decided to buy one andd try it......BINGO! No more problems with NetFlix = happy wife. Super easy setup and it even seems to stream faster. I am the happiest Roku 3 owner anywhere.

All Around Greatness!

After eons of frustration with a wifi capable blu- ray player and too many pauses to load Netflix features, I had enough. The Roku 3 is the third Roku device in our home. We literally have a 1, 2 and 3. All work better streaming than any device we possess!

Worth Every Penny

I purchased the Roku 3 back in June and have really enjoyed it. I have Amazon Prime and Netflix and I find myself going to it to watch movies or television series because regular TV has way too much reality shows which is not my preference. There are only a couple channels on regular TV that I watch and if I could get them with my Roku I would get rid of my cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used to work fine, now it freezes randomly...

The first few months of using the Roku 3 were great. But over the past month or so, it will randomly freeze or reboot itself for no apparent reason. Kind of embarrassing because I used to brag about it. Definitely some bugs to fix!!
I ended up recently purchasing a 25ft HDMI cable to stream my computer to living room TV. This is 1,000 times better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this as a test to see if we could drop Dish...it worked :)
Coupled with an Amazon Prime subscription (that we already had) we don't need anything else for regular TV.
Youtube has been a nice touch as well as having the ability to play videos from my Samsung Galaxy Mega added in a recent Roku app update.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the Roku3. Easy to set up and it works great. Much more options for movies and shows as compared to cable and saves you money.

Easy way to make a tv a smart tv

I purchased the Roku 3 about a year and half ago because i was looking to get rid of cable. I now use it to view movies on netflix as well as Amazon prime, listen to music, and watch Youtube videos. I really like how I can make my tv work the same as the smart tv's. I like how it is portable and we can take it to the cottage and let the kids watch their shows on rainy days.
