Enemy Number One of Broadcast TV

A fine piece of electronics. The nature of access to the content Roku provides is making broadcast TV irrelevant. However, it feels a little pricey since many Blu-ray disc players include same functionality at comparable price.

I could not get Netflix to stream at a constant speed until I got Roku ! Then I had no problem.

Great things come in small packages

I bought the Roku 3 to replace my DVD Player. I travel a lot and it is so much easier to bring a small cube than a large dvd player. The Roku 3 fits right in my suitcase with easy. The lack of dedicated buttons does take a little getting used to but it also adds to the simplicity of operation albeit cumbersome at times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a few weeks ago, and all I can say it's fast! I had no idea streaming content could rival cable and satellite TV., but this does.The 1080p is great. it doesn't have the Turner network stations or Nickelodeon but they're on the internet anyway. it does have my Christian stations and some classic TV stations. It's New and different and good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had my eye on AppleTV, Roku and others for a while and finally liked what I saw in the Roku 3. Purchased, installed and continue to enjoy this pleasant experience.

Best Birthday Gift

I asked for this for my birthday so that my fiance and I would be able to stream all of our subscription services on one device. We don't have cable, so with all of the network television on summer break, we've been watching on the Roku exclusively. I love the variety of channels and the features available, especially the ability to search YouTube videos on our phones and then watch them on our TV. Occasionally we have to reboot the Roku because it says we are trying to access unauthorized content, but the reboot takes very little time to do and isn't a pain.
