GIves me freedom to watch what I want when I want!

I bought this hoping to cut the cord from Direct TV. Have not made the final decision to do so yet, but I am enjoying being able to watch whatever I want whenever I want. I am waiting for the fall shows to start to see how that works out before deciding to cut the cord. Additionally I have to figure out how we are going to watch football if I cut the cord...

Quick Interface with lots of apps

Use this for netflix, hbo go, amazon prime. The search function could be better as it is all in one line instead of a square. Very good product.

Had my Roku 3 for about a year, I love it. Easy to set up, lots of channels to choose. Love that it works with my wireless connection. Remote has headphones that will mute the TV so you do not disturb others, super cool. I love that I can bring it over to a friends house or even on vacation with me. Would recommend to buy.

Good with flaws when watching high resolution vide

The Roku works as expected. It's great that it's a standalone device that can be used independently of your mobile devices. The user interface is pretty easy to get the hang of and I like that I can add channels online. I don't use the Android remote app that often because the remote that comes with it is pretty sufficient. I took one star off, and considered taking off another, because lately I've been getting a message that states the video I'm trying to watch is unavailable. It's like an orange screen of death or something. I looked up possible causes and solutions and a lot of people say its the resolution on the TV or a bad HDMI cord. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works good ,the eye buds doesn't work well they don't tell you that you need to buy a router for it to work. overall the Roku 3 works good
